Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) is in the Uganda’s most popular and diverse conservation area located in the western Region of Uganda spanning along the equator line; monuments on either side of the road marking the exact spot where it crosses latitude 00.

The park adjoins Kyambura Game Reserve, Kigezi Game Reserve (including the Maramagambo Forest) the Kibale National Park and The Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Katwe explosion craters mark the park’s highest point at 1,350m above sea level, while the lowest point is at 910m, at Lake Edward.
