Uganda is a beautiful country that has a lot to offer with its diverse nature and rich culture, a tailor-made Uganda safari will be a memory for a lifetime. We have ten national parks in Uganda and they are all known for different attractions. In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the highlight is the mountain gorillas who find their misty home here. Several groups have been habituated to visitors and gorilla trekking in Uganda is an unforgettable experience. Gorillas are also found in Mgahinga Gorilla NP, here there is only one habituated group though. Murchison Falls NP is the biggest park in Uganda and it is known for its giraffes. Besides the giraffes you can spot lions, hippos and visit the great water fall. The most visited park in Uganda is Queen Elizabeth National Park where you find a diverse mix of mammals such as buffaloes, chimpanzees, elephants, tree-climbing lions and hippos together with an abundance of birds.

Lake Mburo National Park is a smaller park that is easy to reach from Kampala and it is one of the two parks in Uganda that has zebras. In Kibale Forest National Park you are met by a beautiful jungle and the chance of seeing chimpanzees, a highlight possible during a tailor-made safari in Uganda. The most remote park in Uganda is Kidepo Valley National Park where you will find untouched wilderness and meet few tourists. This is the only park that has both giraffes and zebras. On the border to the Democratic republic of Congo we have Semuliki National Park which is East Africa’s only lowland tropical rain-forest and a great destination for birding Uganda. In Rwenzori Mountains National Park Uganda’s highest peak is found and the nature is very special. The last of our parks is Mount Elgon National Park which offers great possibilities for hikers and birders.

Price: The price depends on number of people and accommodation level. Contact us with your inquiry to get the best price for your safari.

Included: Accommodation, meals (bed and Dinner), safari car, fuel, guide, park entries, gorilla permits (if applicable) and activities mentioned in the itinerary. Plus, water in the car and a couple of fruits along the way.

Excluded: International flights, visas, drinks, tips and personal expenses.

Accommodation: In general accommodation mentioned in the itinerary is good places on budget to mid-range level (with the exception of luxury safaris). The accommodation can be adapted to your price range of budget, mid-range or luxury. Of course, a mix is also possible.
