OVERVIEW

8 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour takes you to Uganda’s top visited national parks; Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi Forest. Enjoy wildlife viewing, chimpanzee trekking and gorilla trekking, boat cruises along the Nile and the Kazinga Channel all on this adventure filled tour. The tour has been designed to show the main highlights of a Uganda Safari experience. From gorillas to traditional safari experiences, this trip has it all! It is the best trip for those interested in seeing much of Uganda within a short period of time.

Day 1

Every Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked from the accommodation and immediately transferred Murchison Falls National Park, passing through the famous Luweero triangle. You may visit Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and then have lunch in Masindi town before continuing to Murchison. You will drive through the park, the top of the falls to enjoy a breathtaking view of the might Nile squeezing itself through a narrow gauge and plundering down 43m down in the rocks with a fluorescent forming and arrive at your accommodation later in the day, check in have dinner, free at leisure and overnight.

Day 2

In the morning after breakfast you with start with a morning Game Drive to catch up with early risers and predators before they return to their hiding places. View game as lion, leopard, giraffe, elephants, bush buck, water hogs, hyenas, buffalos, and many more. Return to your accommodation for relaxation. In the afternoon, you will drive to the north of the River Nile for the Boat Cruise. You will have a fantastic view of water birds and several other birds, as well as hippos, crocodiles and many other reptiles then return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3

In the morning after breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and transfer to Kibale, along the way; you will have a scenic view of the beautiful town of Fort Portal. You will visit the Nakayima tree enroute in Mubende, “Amabere ganyina mwiru” in Fort Portal, arrive at your accommodation check in have dinner, free at leisure and overnight.

Day 4

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Kibale forest national park, and enter the forest in search for the Chimpanzees. You will also meet the colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons, and many more. Enjoy the view of the primates as they play in the fruiting trees. You will also see elephants, and other animals. In the afternoon, you will move to Bigodi wetland sanctuary where you will see a variety of bird species and other animals. Return to Fort Portal for dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 5

In the morning after breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, with Game Drive en-route the park where you will see game like buffalos, elephants, and many others. Reach early enough to enjoy the Boat Cruise in the afternoon at the Kazinga channel, where you will have an opportunity to see school of hippos, crocodiles and many other animals along the banks, as well as variety of birds like the kingfisher, the shoebill stork, the heron, etc. Arrive at your accommodation check in, have dinner and overnight.

Day 6

After your early breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and transfer to Bwindi with an en-route Game Drive in Ishasha sector, where you will see animals like lion, leopard, elephant, buffalos, as well as variety of bird species. You will also see tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector before continuing to Bwindi, arriving at your accommodation late in the evening, check in, and have dinner, free at leisure and overnight.

Day 7

This is the memorable day, where you will track the amazing giants. After an early morning breakfast, we shall move to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the animals. Head into the forest for the trekking adventure, where you will move through thick and slippery trails. Trekking may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorilla. Meet and stay in the presence of the Gorillas for a maximum of one hour, then descend to your hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you will take a community walk to the Batwa community, where you will get entertained and learn about their unique culture before returning to our accommodation later in the day for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

In the morning after breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and begin the drive back to Kampala, with enroute stopover for lunch and photography at the equator and local craft markets for African craft. Reach Kampala in the afternoon, and transfer to your hotel or to the airport for departure in case the flight is on schedule
